## Overview

SpectraScope (“the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension that analyzes and visualizes audio frequency in real time. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

## Data Collection

SpectraScope does NOT collect any data.

Specifically, the Extension does NOT:

• Record, store, or transmit any audio data
• Collect personal information of any kind
• Use cookies or tracking technologies
• Send any data to external servers
• Share any information with third parties

## How Audio Processing Works

Audio is captured from your active browser tab only when you explicitly press the “Start Capture” button. All audio processing is performed entirely within your local browser using the Web Audio API. No audio or frequency data ever leaves your device.

When you press “Stop” or close the popup, all audio capture stops immediately and no data is retained.

## Permissions

The Extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

• tabCapture — Required to access audio from the active tab for real-time visualization only

These permissions are used solely for local audio visualization and never for data collection.

## Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
